95 Civic sedan lock problem?
95 Civic sedan lock problem?
Hey guys new here and will jump right in
I changed the drivers door handle on my friends 95 civic sedan, no power anything. everything works great EXCEPT the door lock will not engage if the door is open. If its closed it works. Im guessing this is a safety feature to make sure you don't lock your keys inside. Am i correct OR is something wrong
thanks for your help

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Open the door and pull out on either handle. This allows you to lock it while it's open.
