More powaa!!

Ok, maybe not a lot of power. I just wanna get a little more "oomph" outta my Civic. Im not talking about wrecking BMWs, just want it a little quicker. I have a D16Y7 If i remember right (non vtec). I was thinking of getting another motor (D16Y7) and building it with a mild turbo and calling it good or would it be more beneficial to do a swap with a diff motor and turbo? If I should do a swap, whats good easy swap to do? Im new to modding Civics. Im kinda weary of swapping computers out and stuff

Personally I would do just a mild turbo build on the motor you have now. Save a lot of money on cost and time and still get the power you want.

Ill, do a boosted D series then. I cant use the motor in it right now as it has very low compression and if i dont use 10W oil with an oil stabilizer it burns oil like the dickens so it wont support a turbo even with mild boost. Do I still need a chipped ECU? ive seen a lot of talk about P28 ECUs or can I just tune my original one?
