So to start off im a novice with this site.

I was Driving my car to work this morning, and i had four problems.
1. my radio kept turning on and off my it self ( when i say off i mean like all the lights turned off as well)

2. the green key light on my dash started lighting up.

3. my gas gauge went from full to empty.

4. and finally after a few minutes my car shut off.

it turned right back on after this, but when i was sitting at a stop light i was trying to determine what was going on so i turned my head lights on and the car shut off again, only to turn right back on when i started it.

any suggestions on where i have my short? (thats what i assume is going on)

Battery warning light on?
Your alternator quit charging and you drove the car until the battery ran down?
Loose alternator belt?
