slave cylinder repair
just bought an oem slave cylinder from honda dealer,do i need to apply grease on the end where it makes contact with the cup-like junction,or any other place for that matter....also does anyone know the name of or have the part number of the large rubber boot that covers the area where the slave and the clutch meet...honda dealer parts guy had no clue on it?thanks in advance for any help....neal

Try 'Boot, release fork'

Petroleum grease should NEVER come near parts that contact brake fluid. I'm not sure what part(s) you are thinking of greasing but the previous statement should let you make up your mind.
