Have 1986 Honda Civic Si 1.5 FI, 5 speed. I am having a hard time finding another body to use as mine is loosing the battle. Can this engine and equipment be put into another car of similar year (dodge, toyota) without a lot of modifications?

You can practically put it in anything older than 90's honda civic or crx with cable transmission and d series motor with none or very little modification. Now the fact that you dont want to buy another car but instead swap the motor to another vehicle makes me think you don't have alot of money and swapping the drivetrain to a completely different platform will cost you alot of money and not radical at all . So either buy another vehicle or buy a honda shell ( civic or crx ) and swap your stuff over . Plus since you are asking this question i doubt your ability to do this task yourself so unless you know someone who does a new ( used ) car is the way to go. Well goodluck.
