M3 driver looking to pick up natural gas civic for a daily driver -> advice please.

Hi everyone,

longtime car guy looking to add a third machine to my stable, that being a natural gas civic. i looked around for a natural gas subsection, but if i'm missing it, please forgive and direct me.

i'm mainly curious about driving a CNG vehicle. is the maintenance the same as a gas engine?
is the gas mileage the same as a gas engine?
common problems/things to look out for on test drives? transmission issues?

thanks a bunch for the help. heres a few quick pics of my m3 and nissan frontier rock crawler.

There are literally none in my area of the country, and there is no infrastructure to support driving one here.
I've only been around one at the training center.

In 11 years with my dealer, I have only seen one live GX car of any year, some dude passing through on a road trip in an 8th gen GX..... he stopped in for some reason.
We looked (because we all wondered how he made it this far), it had an extra fuel tank in the trunk. Long Ranger!

You're in Cali? You should at least have some stations that can refill the CNG tank there.
If you want to road trip that car, you would have to plan your route carefully to make sure you can refuel it along the way.
