head got me f $#@d up

Ok I have dual Vtec on a jdm d15B block
An it has og p2j head but p28 ecu bhot it
This way an I was working on it I saw there
Was no gasket were vtec an head meet is this
The cause of oil runnin down trans an down intake
Side of engine an the clicking sound from top of motor
Any help will add pix as soon as I take them

How did you see no gasket?


It's sealed with rubber O ring type gaskets. They leak when they get old. There is a gasket between the VTEC valve and the head, and another rubber gasket under each solenoid.


These are the two gaskets that commonly leak on normal single VTEC valves

But if you have one of these, I have no idea where you will get the gaskets to reseal it
