2004 stock HU - how to tell if it has CD changer port?
2004 stock HU - how to tell if it has CD changer port?
My 2004 coupe has a stock HU that looks exactly like the one shown in this video from the front:

I'd like to install an auxiliary adapter, but I don't know if the HU has the CD changer port or not. When I press the CD button twice, the display doesn't change to "CD-C". Does it only switch to CD-C if there's something connected to the port? I know the surest way to tell is to just remove the panels and inspect the back of the HU, but I've never done something like this before so I'd like to minimize the risk of me breaking something by just doing it once.

Looks like the CD changer was available for just about all trim levels so the port SHOULD be there AFAIK (but I'm looking in info for a USA car, not Canada).
The "CD-C" doesn't show up until a changer is plugged in, IIRC.
