I am looking to buy a turbocharged Integra swapped Civic but all my friends are saying that it's just a piece of **** honda and are claiming that my friends 2011 hatchback stock WRX would beat it in a dead start drag 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile. What do you guys think? Should I challenge him? Here is the list of the mods the civic has (WRX is stock):

Too many variables to tell. How many pounds of boost is it running? How's it tuned? What's being used to tune it? Hell, is it tuned at all, or is it just "slap 'er on and here we gooooo!!"? Can you drive? Have you dealt with a 6-puck clutch before? Can your friend drive? Anything else done to it, suspension-wise? Drag tires? Street tires? LSD or not? Who has a better RT when it comes to launching?

I mean, I can sit here and list off my laundry list of performance mods and I still couldn't tell you if I could beat someone with comparable horsepower in a drag race. A good start would be to see an actual dyno chart of the car in question and compare those to the OEM specs for the '11 suby (265/244 rated hp/tq). Just to equal in power/torque, they would have had to increase the power on the B18B1 (I'm assuming its a -b1, at least) by over 100hp/tq. That's just going off of numbers.

Also, if you're gonna challenge him, keep it off the streets and take it to a track. Be safe and get real times.
