What year 6th gen civic? Suggestions plz.
What year 6th gen civic? Suggestions plz.
In a few months im going to be buying my first civic. Ive been looking at the 98 civic. Kelly blue book prices them at about $3900 with 90,000 miles... maybe it was 100... not sure. I figured I would post here first to see what civic owners think about that year. I want reliability, good gas mileage, easy to find parts as well as affordable.... and I want a car thst will last a looooong time. Should I be looking at another year? Again ive never owned a civic and to be honest (sad to say) know very little about cars. So give your responses in newbie terms. I wont be doing any modding to the car either EXCEPT for the sound system, window tint, and some Mag chrome alloy rims. Other then those things the car will be kept stock. Thanks in advance for your suggestions and guidance.

Lol cars last a long time on their own it just happens to be the idiot driving that makes the car break down faster. I personally like all 6th gen models except the hatchback. 4th gen hatchback is better looking. I own my 97 sedan and I'm loving it. Body has 287k while new engine has 125k. If you buy a used car make sure you check every thing out so you don't get cheated out of money.
