OT: Painting a spoiler
Just wanted to know roughly what I'm lookin at to paint a stock spolier - got quotes from $207 to $85 - whats a good price - has anyone gone through this before?? Honda dealer wants $900 to paint and install - and the thing is already primed..............

a Painted and Installed OEM Spiler is $630CAD.. Dayum.. about $140 is reasonable for a good paint job..the one for $85 will probably a fast slopjob.

why get an OEM spoiler, get something that'll make your car stand out...never buy from the dealer once you drive off the lot...
dm1preppy, check out Kar Rite Solar Solutions on Victoria, they do painting and install of JSP spoilers...they are good

i already have the stock spoiler, my girl bought it for my birthday - just needs to be painted and installed - i don't want anything to flashy....i use it for work as well (my car) and it has to be somewhat conservative
OK then...if you want a good job done, take it ti Dino's in guelph...I think you said you heard of them before...
btw, are you back in town yet, when are we gonna go cruising?...I might give Surrealcivic a buzz tonight and do some cruzin, he's in Waterloo...

ya I'm back - I'm pickin up some rims tomorrow and the rest of the week i'm busy - going to Dave and Busters actually on Saturday for a party and then Sunday I have a soccer tournament in Toronto - any other soccer players in here?? Playin Ontario Cup - Machina, you wanna meet some where sometime next week??? Tues and Thurs are no good as I got practice - let me know

$100 is good - so the shop that asked ofr $208 plus tax........a little to high??? Called 3 shops all together and got 3 completely different prices - $140 - $208- $85 -

got it done for $90 - two coats - looks alight actually - now i gotta install it - anyone know how - factory spolier - they wanted another $150 to install - said no thanks to that sh@#

well i usually use this one in my area, we use them all the time at work but they wanted $110 for installlation - and another $208 for paint - got it painted for $85 and I'll get my buddy to install it for free (or a couple of [IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG] -
