Hi, i have transmission problm with my honda civic 2001. i changed the transmission by mehanic/used parts dealer. as per his saying, he changed with a japanese transmission. when i shift from part to drive. and push the gas it slips and then moves the car after5 seconds. but does not give me problem while running on highway.. it happens every time. when i am parked and reverse or drive..

other problem, there is engine light after changing that transmission. can somebody pl help me with this thanks. is there any danger, if am driving with engine light on. thanks in advance.

you had your entire tranny replaced?....if so, take it back to them!....it is THEIR PROBLEM to fix, not YOUR PROBLEM!
