cat split

Well I tell ya pretty soon this thing will be brand new.
I pulled off a major 4 laner on the way home on friday
and when i went to take off I could hear myself over da tunes.
WTF brand new from cat back.

I pull er up on ramps when i get home fire it up slide under neath
and nothing apparent but could hear coming from cat area.
I put my hand under cat and u can feel and smell exaust.
and now I can see it is spit in the front.
So my question is I have 92,000kms and 7yrs old technically
I am under the warranty for the cat.
But as I said it is new from cat back with non OEM replacement
but a stock replacement not a fart can.
What are the chances they will cover the cat?
If they won't cause it isnt their tail pipe I would
rather put the 70 dollar inspection fee toward a decent after market cat as I have to pass an E-test before sept.

Any one have cat replaced under warranty without original tailpipe and muffler installed??
