URGENT URGENT assistance needed!!!
Hi guys, I am desperately looking for more info on a mate of mine's car. He had just broken down a zillion miles away from the closest repair shop and he is really up the proverbial creek at the mo!! It is 10,35pm here at the mo, and all he has to his disposal is his cell phone and me
He says it seems as if none of the injectors are getting any fuel through, which makes him lean towards fuel pump problems. He would like to remove the pump (if at all possible), and have it tested 1st thing tomorrow morning. (or perhaps there is a simpler explination???) I would REALLY appreciate any help at this stage. He has a Civic 1.7 VTec 2005 model 5 door hatch back.

Your "mate" will be money ahead to just get it towed to someone more knowledgeable than himself.
The pumps are darn reliable.
I'm going to assume your "mate" really doesn't know much about cars, since it sounds like he's assuming that all problems are caused by the fuel pump....
There are 100 other things that would keep it from running.
Guessing is NOT the way to solve the problem.
JMHO, YMMV.
Out of gas?
Out of oil?
Did the timing belt let go?
Was the CEL on before it died?
Compression, fuel, or spark. All at the correct times, and in the correct amounts. Which isn't right?
