2011 Honda Civic Transmission Fluid
I have a 2011 Honda Civic and the check engine light is on. I drove it and when I hit the gas, the engine revs up, but the car doesn't speed up. I tested it and it gave us the code PO843 and said, transmission fluid pressure sensor/ switch A circuit high. I do not know what this means. What could be causing this problem? Please help. Thank you.

2nd gear pressure switch is either bad, wires chewed by rodents, or the trans shot craps.
Go to a dealer. Warranty (unless it has rodent damage to the wiring).
