1995 Black Civic Si HB, less than 100k mile value?

Curious about thoughts on what we should be asking for our 1995 black Civic Si Hatchback. 94k miles. Original owner. The usual dings for a 17 year old car but no major body damage. No modifications. Clean history. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the reply...I'm actually the owner, so I'm wondering what would be a reasonable asking price in the customizer community. Kelley Blue Book says $3200, but the biggest problem with KBB is the fact that it doesn't take into account supply and demand and desire in certain sub-markets. So that's why I'm asking in this community, I'm hoping you all might be able to give me some insight into what an enthusiast would be willing to pay for a car with those specs.

Thanks again!

the car might look good on the outside, but the location and driving habits will tell a lot about whats going on under the body.

Thanks for your input so far.

The car has spent it's whole life in Central NJ. It was mostly driven by my mother, although it was my car for about 2 of my 4 college years. It has no modifications and was never used for anything besides commuting and getting around. No racing, etc.

Yup, all regular maintenance was kept up with. Selling in Central NJ. I'll update this weekend with more specifics. I know that at least two of the tires are new.

damn NJ is far away. i would say try 3000-4000 if its as clean and well kept it would be a nice starting point for a good project.

when you put it up to sell learn everything about the car so you can be a descriptive as possible and put it on craigslist, ebay, backpages, and even put it on youtube if you know how to video edit.

Here are some pix. Only possible problem spot is the radio antenna. I suspect it just needs to be replaced.

still, recommend a carfax. you never know on private party cars, you never know what accidents the car has been in. carfax gives maintenance, accident, dmv records, everything you could need to know about a car

Guys, it's his car. He has owned it since new. The only reason to get a car fax is for people who are looking to buy it.

Re: 1995 Black Civic Si HB, less than 100k mile value?

these cars are getting more rare every day.. i bought my ej1 for 2000 a few years ago with just under 150000 miles on it in ohio. kbb is pretty dead on, which is what i paid for mine. a lot of people love these cars and will pay a pretty penny to find one in good condition like that tho..
