First Civic, have a detailing question.

So, I'm wanting to paint my valve covers and other parts that I can paint blue.....I seen civics with the AEM short ram, and all the Tubing was blue,

What is the tubing called? And does it have to be a certain diameter

Even the spark plugs are blue...

So I'm trying to go for blue and chrome...can anyone point me in the direction of the tubing?

Re: First Civic, have a detailing question.

AEM short rams come in a variety of colors, most commonly with blue or chrome 2.5"(?) tubing. The spark plugs can sometimes have exposed wiring which people like to color also. I'm not sure how easy it is to obtain that look on a D17 engine.

If you want more chrome, you can get a new header too. Better yet, get your whole engine block chrome dipped, lol. But on the cheaper side of things, there is replacement cables and wiring that are braided steel and look shiny like chrome

Yeah but I'm trying to find the wiring that's blue but I can't find it and I don't even know the name of it, I want to change all the black wiring to blue...

Do you know the name of the wires? The blue cables

Not exactly sure, I've never dealt with my cars engine bay wiring. My guess is that it's generic blue-coated wire that people have cut and spliced and replaced on their own, which requires good knowledge of electrical systems to do.
