ABS Light

Hey folks,
I own a 2008 Civic (4 door EX) and was in an accident about a month ago. I have had fits with my ABS since. The light comes on when I am driving, but when I take it to the shop, they say there are no codes and the light won't come on for them. When I shut the car off, sometimes the light resets and doesn't come on for a couple of days. It seems when it rains that it comes on... I know this is very little to go on, but would anyone have any ideas? No other light comes on, just the ABS.

Thanks!

Re: ABS Light

#1, you have to get it to the shop WHILE the light is on, and they MUST check it right then.
The shop you are using DOES have the right equipment to scan ABS on this car, right?

Or we can guess.

I'd GUESS a bad wheel speed sensor on whatever corner had the damage. I have seen a cracked sensor cause headaches like you describe. The water plays havoc with the electronics. Same for exposed wiring.
