JDM Tow Hooks? Good or Trash?
JDM Tow Hooks? Good or Trash?
While yes I'm looking at these to add a little something to my car looks wise, only the rear because I'm not going to cut holes in my bumper and have it lose structural strength at least not yet. I want to know if I install this it isn't some piece of junk that is going to bend or worse yet damage my car if I get pulled out of the grass pit at my local track.
If these hooks are junk, where should I look for an alternative. Especially for the front one that has the worst installation option I've seen.

Re: JDM Tow Hooks? Good or Trash?
I imagine they will work, however the way they stick out i would not think it is hard to bend..Just get it from a good site, More or less i think they are for looks, I would have to read the specs on them to tell you if it is a good option or not.. but for looks sure..towing IDK.

I can't vouch for what's out there (the quality of hardware, design and fabrication).
But if I were going to attach a hook to my car it would be a brand that has actually seen some actual track time. For me that would be J's Racing or Mugen.
Just my $.02
