i noticed today that my car was vibrating when i was parked at a red light..i had my foot on the brake and i noticed it was vibrating. Is this normal? has anyone else encountered this problem?

I'm taking my new 2K2 Civic in to the dealer tomorrow for the same reason.
Also will have them check why my accel. pedal is giving my foot an unwanted massage.

These two concerns were never noticed before with my previous Civics.

Is this your first Civic?

yeah it's my first civic...make sure you tell me what they say..I think i'm going to do the same and take it in to them.

I had exact same problem with my car, it turned out that i had a bad alternater. When you step on the brake it triggers the rear light and my alternater had hard time keeping up with demand and making my idle drop producing annoying viberation like it's gonna stall. viberation was even worse during night when i turn on the headlights, so check your alternater I don't think there's nothing wrong with your brake. hope this help...
