Good deal or not? 2009 Civic Si (49k - Stock) for $16,500

Here is the listing:

09 Honda Civic Si Low miles

Kid got a DUI and can't drive it for the next year, hence him selling it.

Good things:

- Runs very good

- New Tires

- Completely Stock (minus Acura rims)

Bad Things:

- Has a few door dings (and a dent in the truck) - Paintless Dent Removal should be able to fix however

- Front driver side frame (where the frame meets the bumper) has damage from what appears to be an accident

- Driver seat outmost plastic cover is popping off
Stereo screen has a imperfection in the orange illumination (not bad)

- Front Honda Badging on grill missing (front bumper isn't mounted properly either)

These two issues suggest the possibility of a rebuild, which I would steer clear of.

I got a decent look at it, it looked like it had some kind of JB Weld at the very tip of the front of the frame.

yeah have fun with that motor the kid beat to hell and back lol. im sure you can find something much better. a 2 yr old car should not be anywhere near that bad of a shape. shows the owner treated it like garbage.

That's bizarre, unless he can provide a solid explanation for the frame having jb weld on it pass. Its not a great deal, wait for something in better shape.

You're gonna be able to find 8th gen Si's in that $15,000-$17,000 better than that one.
