I am looking to get a civic hatch - I found one in my area

The good: looks great and seems to run fine

The possibly bad: it has a B18A or B (not sure) but I know it is non-VTEC

Approx 150k on the motor and trans

Can you guys let me know if this is a good choice or if I should pass on this

I want a reliable car but yet something I can throw some upgrades at every once in awhile

The guy is asking 3000 but im sure I could get it for 2500 or 2700

I say talk him down a lil. But-in my opinion, after having 4 of these babies it's worth it. Even if you don't upgrade it, they are a blast to drive! Good luck!

That thing will run like a scalded dog with a stock B18 in it. $3K is a fair price, $2500 is better.
