I recently bought an 89 si dirt cheap. It was rusty and the engine was shot. I got at deal at $500. I then in turn started swapping out everything I could get my hands on. I put a 92 b18a1 engine/tranny/axles/full brake conversion (with only 50K!!!) from an integra ls in with new ecu, k&n cold air intake, headerback dc sports 3" exhaust, stage 3 centerforce clutch, b&m short shifter,full msd ignition(including blaster, ignition, and wires), power steering delete, and ac delete. I did alot of other work and weight reduction to the car as well and it weighs in at 1900lb.(momo wheel, carbon fiber/fiberglass parts, removed interior, lowered on adjustable skunk2 coilovers, enkei alloys, etc.) I know the bhp on the motor is around 140hp, so my question is how much power do you think I am getting now? I only ask because I live in Vermont and there is no dyno facilities anywhere near where I live. The car pulls nicely and it grips a 90 degree corner at 55mph with ease(weight has a lot to do with that I think). I am extremely happy with the build so far, I just am curious what I am getting as far as power goes. I am thinking its around 160whp, but this is my first build and i don't know how accurate that is. Also, any ideas for other n/a mods I can do for more power without compromising the engine? thanks.

It's impossible to tell you how much HP your getting... You must take it to a dyno and get it ran. You can continue to upgrade the internals by replacing camshafts/valves etc. but if you go too far you will need a tune. Your probably putting around 130 to the wheels with the mods listed.

alright, thanks for the reply. i'll have to get to a dyno sometime soon. If anyone knows of any within 75 miles of Killington, VT, I'd definitely like to know about them.
