Help!! 1990 Civic HB Gas Smell So I bought this Honda about 6 months ago and it runs great. 178000 miles. But when you lug the engine going up hill at moderate speed (30-40) or you drive at high speed you get the check engine light and a gas smell. I don't want to buy and replace parts ***** nilly so I'm looking for some help in logically tracking this down. Any ideas or procedures are very appreciated. I'm a starving student.
