Fuel injector impedence?

I have a 91 civic CX 1.5L DPFI. Been trying to figure out the impedences for the two injectors for trouble shooting but cant seem to find any clear numbers for them I tested them and what i got was...

Main- 2.1 Ohms
Aux- 9.3 Ohms

If someone could tell me anything with any certainty it would be greatly appreciated

Re: Fuel injector impedence?

The AUX is bad. Should be 1.5-2.5 Ohms. You have a PM.

Re: Fuel injector impedence?

Would a bad auxillary cause a rough idle, bad fuel mileage, poor acceleration, strong odor from the exhaust? been trying to troubleshoot this for a while now.

And by what i can understand the auxilary is supposed to have a higher impedence, 6-10 Ohms. Also just found that apparently according to a Helms manual the main is supposed to be 0.6-1.6 Ohms....Gaah lol

Re: Fuel injector impedence?

It could be. What code is it throwing? http://check-engine-light-codes.blog...retrieval.html

1.5-2.5 Ohms is straight from the manual- read the PM I sent you. Also there is an injector resistor separate from the injectors. It's not worth asking or answering anymore questions until you at least read and confirm it's code 16 (as referenced above). Otherwise we're just shooting in the dark.

BTW: Please state the whole problem and any/all symptoms in the beginning.
