d16z6 Modding?

Alright, so basically, i have a stock d16z6 in my 95 dx, it had an engine swap, I'm looking to add power to the motor, Make it even more fun, the only thing really done to the car is a RAM air intake, I'm basically looking to see if anyone has a guide of like in what order what mods you should do first, Like Ram Air intake, done, What should i do next. What things should you do little by little to make it better and better. Good starting points, if anyone has one, or wouldn't mind writing one, what things should i do, tune, add to my engine, and in what order. I've seen people going straight going to adding a turbo their car, and i don't feel i should do that first. Any tips would be appreciated. thanks.

Re: d16z6 Modding?

It all depends whut kind of power ur really lookin 4. Headers and exhaust work is always a good place 2 start. Cold air, new plugs and larger mm wires. For more tunability, a hondata ecu is a must. Chips r cool but only give u minimum tunability and if u wanna add a turbo, Hondata is a definite must.

DC Sports makes a 4 into 1 header ( I run one on my SOHC ) Looks good and sounds great, I also had a custom 2.25" exhaust built for my civic wit a deleted cat replaced wit a test pipe ( find em on Ebay ) wit a N1 muffler. The Hondata ECU can b found at hondata.com. Starting at $199 for a s100
