You probably just want forged pistons and rods if you arent running a ton of boost. Wiseco are top of the line. For a boosted setup you want low compression pistons (8.5-9.0). Eagle rods are also good. If you are going to turn up the boost a lot you will want a forged crankshaft as well. A lot of companies sell rotating assemblies that contain all of these things plus the bearings. I would get ARP head, rod and main bolts/studs. You don't really need to upgrade the valvetrain unless you are going to put a bigger cam in it. If you are going to rebuild it, then replace all of the seals.

Talk to the machine shop that is machining your block so that you order all of the right sizes. Or they may be able to get the stuff for cheap too.

I hope this helps

You can get stronger or larger valves, but I don't believe it is necissary. It will not hurt to make stuff stonger though.

The retainers and springs are for if you get a stage 2 or 3 camshaft.
