Okay here it goes y'all. Hopefully somebody can help a brotha out...I have notice for quite a while now that I have this rattling like noise coming from under the car on the passenger side. At first it sounded like it was coming from the front but after finally investigating a little bit more, it sounds like its comin from under the passenger side of the car. It sounds like a heat shield rattle BUT I have an aftermarket CAT so its not that and my head shield at the header is SOLID. The sound occurs when the car is out of park. It comes and goes. I brought it in to my mechanic and he couldn't detect what it is. Anybody experience this type of issue? Its starting to annoy me. I wanna get this fixed

So, your saying you took the heatshield(s) out when you put in the aftermarket cat. Why?

I got a 2001 Acura EL and my CAT went bad and had to replace it so I went the Magna Flow route cause there is NO WAY Im spendin $1500 before tax for a brand new OEM CAT. The shield on the header is solid. Im wondering if it can be the tranny mount cause it will rattle on and off when the car is in "R, D, D1 D2". Its really annoying. Wonder if any of y'all had the same issues here.

Mount might rattle but usually makes a popping or clunking sound. Check your other heatshields.
