Air/fuel meter by Auto METER
Hey, I'm trying to install my air/flow meter on my car. I have the single pillar pod and another one for my intake temp. he air/flow meter has three wires, RED, BLACK and Violet. The red wire needs to be connected to a switched 12v fused location like the ignition wire, the black one is ground, and the violet one needs to be connected to the SIGNAL wire of the oxygen sensor coming from the ECU. Now does anyone have a wire diagram of our whole Computer unit and if they do, can they e-mail me pictures and locations/ colours of the wires I need to find so I don't have to run wires to the engine bay? The main ones I'm looking for are the ignition wire (positive) going to ignition, and the Signal wire coming from the ECU to the Oxygen sensor. Our oxygen sensors have FOUR wires going into it cause our 02 sensors have a built-in heater to warm up quickly. I would really appreciate any help at all. I tried our sites links like the HELM site but the site is not working for me for some reason. If anyone has any info, e-mail me at JDQuik@shaw.ca Thanks guys

You'll be better off running the wire to the O2 sensor directly. With my previous car, if i hooked it up at the ECU, the readings were very erratic, when I connected it close to the sensor, it started operating normally. It's not hard to run wires to the engine bay, just find a grommet and run the signal wire through, it's the only one you need to run to the engine bay.
the o2 sensor is at the cat, just run a wire down there an attach it to the o2 sensor. if i remember correctly there are 4 wires around the o2 sensor, so just do trial and error.

JD, my email server has been really screwey lately, so I haven't been getting a lot. It should be fixed now, just email me with what you need and I can scan and send diagrams back or just tell you the wires.
thats quite an expense there, i asked about an intake temp guage last year, they told me about $240!
too rich for my blood
but if anyone needs a trans. temp. gauge cheap, lemme know

<< i took out my vent on the drivers window side, and fabricated some carbon fiber to fill the space, worked really well >>

Hey RiceburnrEX, I just sent you mail so I hope you respond back. If not, go back to the beginning of this thread and I pretty much explain what information I need. My e-mail is JDQuik@shaw.ca, oh yeah, White Rabbit I got my Intake temp with my A/f metre all for $20 cdn. My friend didin't need it anymore so he hooked it up!
heres a pic of my carbon fiber gage mount and also, if you look at my dash ive replaced the annoying black plastic with carbon as well...so is the area around my VAFC and my deck...cant see it tho...
dang, niiice job, i like it alot. gotta spruce up that wiring tho
what kind of CF did you use and where did you get it? i assume it was either a sheet or pre-impregnated?
