So I used body filler and primer to restore my 2001 Civic 2dr hood to new, only to find out its cheaper to buy another hood altogether rather then paint the old one.

I've seen Civic hoods from $80 to $250 at the salvage yards.
The question is: Is a 2-door hood the same as a 4-door hood and vice-versa?

Also, for 2001+ models, does the hood change at all with the facelift that came in 2003?
