OEM Spoiler and Shifter questions
OEM Spoiler and Shifter questions
So i just bought a silver manual 99 civic ex coupe, but it didnt come with a spoiler. I was hoping to get an oem spoiler, as its not ricy and fits the car well. So, if i were to get a new one (on ebay for like $100 painted), will the paint look weird because the car would be slightly faded but the wing would be new? Or should i get one at a junkyard, but they tend to be ~$100-150? Or just forget it...
Also, i test drove a couple civics in this gen and the shifter seems to be really loose (its hard to tell if you got the gear right because the shiter moves around so much). Im guessing its the bushings, but would getting a ss help at all?
Thanks for any help or advice.

Re: OEM Spoiler and Shifter questions
as for the spoiler, i bought someone else's SI wing. i found some repair instructions for installing the OE model, but the concept it pretty much the same. there are 4 bolt holes to be drilled and 1 more for the wiring for the LED brake lamp. i was surprised to see that the holes to be drilled were clearly marked and aligned with the template provided in the repair instructions.
