Ground Control Coilovers

i noticed that there is two sets of coilovers for our cars. the ones that are ment for konis and the ones that are ment for the stock set up. does this mean that the ones ment for the stock set up would be nicer to the shocks? and i noticed that a lot of people have just the coilover and no new shocks. are there shocks holding up??? i dont want to buy the coilovers then have the shocks blow then have to buy a diff set up. i'm kinda on limited budget. so is there any diff between a coilover and a spring as far as on a stock shock? sorry for the long postttt

RedDragon333 will become famous soon enough
Im not all the way sure about this but the difference between the coil over and the simple spring is the adjustablity determines how hard you are on the stock shocks so if you get the coil overs and lower maybe about an inch i dont think youll have a problem with your stock setup whereas if you slam it to the ground youll have to replace the shocks with performance ones that are built for dealing with that please someone correct me if im wrong but this is what i have found to be true

I have Ground Control with Konis. I had the Ground Control with stock shocks for about 4 days and then all my shocks blew. So I bought the Konis. I didn't have to buy anything different in order to fit the Konis. My car was dropped about 1.5 inches. It rides better then when I had blown shocks but not as smooth as factory. If you want to keep the smooth ride I wouldn't drop it. It just looks good dropped.
