For those w/ Tokico D-Spec Shocks:

I'm finally starting to save up for these shocks. The gf is also helping with the pay.

Anyways I have an 03 Civic EX. I want to purchase tokico dspecs made for 01-02 civics. I know the crash bolts for my year is 16mm so I would have to drill out the dspecs and I know that the stock shock housing is 55mm for 03+.

My question is what size is the shock housing on the dspecs made for 01-02 civics? Would there be a problem if I ran my gc sleeves made for stock 03 shocks on the 01-02 dspecs? Also if the dspecs were to be 50mm in shock housing what can i do about the extra 5mm to make my sleeve snug? Someone help me out here. I'm slightly confused.

Re: For those w/ Tokico D-Spec Shocks

Also what do you guys think about gc sleeves on blues as an alternative?

my current set up is gc sleeves with stock shocks(blown) and 195/55/15 tires. I have no gap up front and a tight finger gap out back. My b pipe? scrapes everywhere.

Once i get new shocks i plan on raising the car to a good 2 finger gap all the way around and running 195/65/15 tires. I'm tired of riding low. I want comfort now.
