Hotchiks ($416 for 2 bars): 1" (25.4mm) Hollow Front and Back with polyurethane bushings.

Comptech ($380-non-adjustable; $580-adjustable): 22mm Rear Swaybar with Lower Tie Bar Kits with bushings. Drilling Required.

JDM ($168): 22mm Rear Sway Bar System w/ Rubber Bushings. Bolt-on.

Progress ($199): Rear sway. Not much info for this.

hey i know this is a dummy question i have a si/EX right. and i was thinking if i can install the JDM RSX-R sway bar the 22mm rear sway?
or should i just go with the 19mm from the type S???

Rep Power: 0 So we can install the RSX-S 19mm sway bar on our Civic EX's? Anyone know how much of the bar, bushings (endlinks?) and all the hardware? Has anyone here done it yet?
I agree, 22mm would probably make the car oversteer a lot or become unstable on the turns and require a lot of throttle modulation. Our Civics have different suspension geometry than the last gen. Plus Eibach told me that the stock spring rates on a '01 Civic are really high in the back (almost 300lbs/in.!!).

Rep Power: 0 Yes we can install it, it runs about $90 total (acuraautomotiveparts.net). Sicollx was the first, check him in the member rides. You don't need the endlinks, and it looks like the factory mounts will work (noone has confirmed yet) so all you need is the bar and bushings.

and even if you do, the total cost is like 83 with shipping. cost a lot cheaper than aftermarket ones.

From the looks of it the front will fit as well. They look the same at least.

Yes, they have. All you need are the brackets that hold the bushings. Everything else is the same. That's if you have an EX. Any other 2001 model and the 2002 DX will need everything the EX needs and the end links and the end-link mounting brackets. Those will need to be welded on to the rear lower arms. It's a biotch and a half to do, but I plan on doing it anyway.

Rep Power: 0 hmm, I am still tempted to go with a 22mm bar. I called up a technician at Neuspeed and the guy told me the same thing. That 19mm would be "safe and ideal" size for the 01 Civic. If you get a 19mm bar, you'd only be itching for the 22mm, so why not just save yourself those sleepless nights and get the 22mm? Oh by the way, Mugen has the 26mm bar available for the RSX... imagine THAT in your 7th gen with full coilovers and BF Goodrich T/A tires... sweet...
