Need help with my 2001 civic ex! overheating problems.
I have a 2001 civic ex. The car has been overheating i havent been able to drive it for a week now. its been in the mechanic for the past week, we changed the thermostat, cooling sensor, temp sensor, the radiator. The radiator was leaking so we decided to change it. The radiator fans dont turn on either, they work fine because they were connected directly from the battery and worked. I think the problem is the fans but they are working fine. Im not sure if i am being clear but maybe you understand more than i do? Anything would help thank you.

I know this is old, but I thought my experience might help. I had a similar problem, the radiator wouldn't kick in. It turned out to be a loose connector on one of the fuse boxes, it was the one on the interior.

I changed many of the fuses just in case but it would still overheat right now im in the process of changing the head gasket and taking it to a machine shop.
Re: Need help with my 2001 civic ex! overheating problems.
most likely is your heads warped, had the same problem after changin everything from the cooling system it eneded up being the heads. so most likely thats your best bet...since your there u should change the timing belt ( 30 bucks at honda ) but most likely thats your problem...the heads. good luck!!
