Fans come on when car isnt warmed up!
I have a 2002 Honda civic EX and I recently did an overhaul on my engine, i changed my head gasket, got my cylinder head resurfaced and pressure tested, changed my intake gasket, exhaust gasket, water pump, timing belt, alternator/ac belt, power steering belt, thermostat, coolant, and oil. i think that is everything. I did the idle learn procedure and everything, and ive probably driven about 7 or 800 miles since all this was done. My problem is that ever since I finished all this work, when i start my car when it is cold, the fans kick on almost right away. It will eventually get up to normal temperature but it takes it quite awhile because the fans are going off and on the whole time. I know that the fans aren't supposed to come on until the temp goes slightly above 199 degrees I think. I think it has something to do with my ECU not being set correctly so it is making my fans come on when they shouldn't but I'm not sure. Any help or thoughts on this problem would be greatly appreciated.
