Anybody know anything about this??

Has anyone ever bought one of these, if so, did it do what it says?

Throttle Body Spacer Honda: 2001 1.7L CivicHonda: 2001 1.7L Civic SOHC & SOHC VTEC Helix Power Tower throttle body spacer

Hard to believe, but this innocent-looking spacer can pull up to 20 extra horsepower out of your car, truck, or SUV. By raising your throttle body height 1 in., this Helix Power Tower spacer increases the velocity of air and fuel into your engine. At the same time, its spiral flow design creates an air flow vortex that improves fuel atomization and increases combustion. Comes complete with all gaskets and hardware to complete the installation.

If I recall correctly, one was dynoed on a DOHC 4.6L V8 over on corral.net ...not even 1hp gain. The thing about these gimmicks is they make sense. They *should* work, but they don't ...not on cars. Spiraling air seems to work on aircraft engines though.

I think I'll pick up a Fuel Magnetizer and get 10% more hp and a boost in fuel effeciency instead.

No way man! It's 11.7hp!

Hehehe...it's just another gimmicky thing. Forgot how it was supposed to work...something about aranging the molecules so they burn more efficiently.
