I'm almost certain I want to put 17's on my 6th gen civic. Since i'm cutting it kinda close with 205/40 tires, or at least I think I am. I am a little worried about bending a rim, I've narrowed my decision down to the following rims:

Drag DR-36 - 17" Rims
Euromax 941 - 17" Rims
Akita Racing AK-5


I like the Drags the most by far.. they look sharp. My civic is a black coupe with 5% tints all around. I think it'll look nice, maybe with chrome calipers so the black stands out more? What do you guys think? And what do you guys think of the quality, which is best? Do you have any experience with these brands? any advice/input is welcome! thanks!

Personally I like the Akita's styling the best. As far as the brands are concerned I don't know.

IMO you are definitely pushing it with 17's on this car. I used to have 17's on my car and the drive was uncomfortable. I also had issues with the rubbers because they were more prone to ruptures from pot holes and sharp edges due to their low profiles. It looks nice though, but I'd have to say I'm pretty happy with my 16's. That inch made a world of difference to me.
