82 Civic Puttering Out Problems
Hi,
I have an 82' Civic hatchback with the 1.3 motor in it. The car has just over 100K on it. This summer I have been having problems where the car will putter out and if it does quit it tends not to start up for a while. To me it sounds like vapour lock. The thing is, the car will do it if it's sitting in traffic or if it has been running at operating temp, then shut off for a few minutes and then started again.
To try and rule out other potential issues I have changed the fuel filter, air filter, set the carb and checked the timing (which wasn't out).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
