Hi,
I have a 2001 Civic EX that I have messed up the frame on while living in NJ. I am pretty much going to sell the parts I can and take the rest of the car to the junk yard in a day or two. I can't be parting this thing out because I will need to drive it to the junk yard. Yes, it still drives but there is no way I can make it 800 miles back home and well I need the money for school. Hitting all of these pot holes on lowered all blown suspension has caused the sub frame to strip the bolts out of the actual frame. The car drives its self left or right and you just hang on for the ride.

So I found a shop that was willing to take a chance on the car. They managed to get most of the bolts in the frame and one of them he put in and added a little weld on the sub frame to keep it from falling out. It can actually drive. Since I have to move back home 800 miles away in 2 days then I am going to try and drive it back.

So I made it back pulling this really big trailer without a 5th gear. Everything held up great. Then I drove to get food the next morning and the transmission came apart inside and sounded like nails in a blinder. The car is done for. I am still going to try and sell everything since the car is back home. There is a Honda only junk yard near by that I am going to try and sell the car to. The NX kit and everything like that is still up for sale. Let me know if you guys want any of that. I will also let you know if I decide to part out the car in the next few days.

So, I have decided to rebuild my civic instead of scrapping it and getting something else. The main thing to get it running again is going to be the transmission. After that I need to replace all of the struts, and do tons of little odds and ends to get the car back to a good working order.
