My Altezza's are foging
Well i did do a search but the ones i found all said take out the lights
I never installed my altezza's the dealer ship installed them for me
so i wouldent know how to take out the lights and use silicon to seal em
oh btw they are apc sedan altezza's
Heres my question
A:can i seal the altezzas with silicon without takeing off the bumper???
B:And if i can do i seal around it or what???
And i did do a search!

if you bought them from the dealership why don't you go back to them
they should be under warranty
Also a while back I had read that the only way to fix the problem is to remove the light and seal it with clear silicone

im not to shure how the sedan lights are put in but it shouldnt be to hard. for my car(a coupe) i pulled the carpet up behind the lights and bingo. just clime in your trunk(im not kidding) and start poking around. the lights are held on bye abunch of little gold(i think) nuts. take the lights off look for the trouble spots caughk and replace.

I dont think so. The one on the trunk comes off in one minute. The other ones took me like an hour because I did it without removing my bumper, and it took some time to get the screws out from under the car and those stupid metal pieces. Also, just the other day a fly flew into my altezza light and died!! I have no idea how he got in there, but he died in there. I had to take my whole light out and make it fall to the bottom so it cant be seen. What a pain, this is my second set and already something has gone wrong. So I recommend sealing them off anyway possible.

Okies, nice 4dr guy to the rescue again... I explained it a few times b4, did you do the search? Anyways umm the middle part you SHOULD KNOW how to take out cuz its just screws n stuff, but thats prob not whats fogging right? The outsides are the ones that are prob fogging cuz thats what mine did once... Anyways, unscrew the fenderwell screws and crawl under the bumper and unscrew everything u see up there near the light.... The light wont come out because there is a piece on the light that goes into the bumper, therefore you would have to push down the bumper to lift up a lil and take out the light... there is one screw under the car that is connected to the light, so be sure to take that off if u wanna do it.... good luck....
I just got a set of Sedan Altezzas today, should I seal them or something before I even put them on? Also I got instructions that say to take off the rear bumper, but how hard/possible is it to do it without removing the bumper?

My sedan tail lights were a pain to take off! The ones that screw on the trunk is easy. The corner ones were hell. You have the 3 screws inside the trunk and if you crawl under your car, you'll see a bracket with a screw that seems to go right into the lights and 2 bolts holding the bracket to the car. You'll also see 2 nubs from the light that extend into the bracket. What me and TwilightX did was unscrewed most of the screw/bolts/tabs from the trunk. Then he used his knee and pressed down on the bumper to give clearance for the nubs and just pulled. Its a bit hard to picture, but you should understand if you see it. Message me or TwilightX if you have any probs
