96 civic cx performance chip

Hey guys i was just wondering whats the best chip out there for my 96 civic its completely stock and im just starting to tune it up.

you should do i/h/e first before you chip it but greddy has one thats pretty good but it costs quite a bit

You can't chip a 6th gen Civic. You have to convert to ODB1 and run a conversion harness. This would only be worthwhile if you made MAJOR mods beyond bolt-ons.

Any other so-called "chip" is not worthwhile especially for a CX.

Don't even bother. You'll gain 5hp most optimizing ECU alone. It's only worth time (and money) if you change something else on the engine.
