I want to either buy this or make on myself for function only. Anyone have any idea on how to make this besides fiberglass? I know these work from experience.

Re: Custom Diffusers

umm i have one of these and im sure you saw it at the GMR meet the other time. i've seen people make these in many ways and forms.
1) some do it out of sheet metal (which i dont suggest because it gets real hot) and
2) on Top Gear they made it out of wood (which caught on fire btw )

fiberglass is good but you'll have to fiddle with fitment. i suggest you buying the APR CF universal splitter piece if you want to go that way with the splitter. it looks nice, functions very well and is very good quality cf. but either way im sure you'll need to cut things down to make it fit nicely.

only downside...the cheapest i've seen back when i searched for a piece was $300... maybe they're cheaper now but nonetheless...its expensive because the stainless steel rods are $50 by themselves. but im sure you can look around and find it for cheaper. gl!

i also liked the idea about the rear diffuser for a long time... the 09 fits have their style and it looks slick. i can see it work with the 04-05 bumpers but less with the 01-03. its kinda like the vortex generators but on the bottom haha
