My 2004 honda civic ex needs an oil change, and I was wondering the best kind of oil and oil filter to use this summer for the New England weather, the car has 40,000 miles on it

theres a thread about this, but i like K&N oil filters that have a 1" hex socket piece at the end so you can take it off if it gets stuck. they are expensive but worth it for the hi filtration rate. i also like valvoline oil with LC20 additive from lubecontrol.com
