'91 Temp sending unit help!!!!
Hey all, my 1991 Civic with the D15B motor first off has a temp problem. It likes to overheat... we guess that the thermostat is installed backwards, so that is issue number one...
issue number two is this, the temp gauge is inop., and I cannot for the life of me remember where the temp sensor and/or sending unit is...
Also, as of right now, the fan is wired to constant on with the ignition on, I hope to get this thing back to original shape soon.... any help would be great. I can't even remember if the d15B used a single temp switch for both the gauge and the fan or separate....
Note, this may or may not be the original radiator that came with this vehicle, as it was struck in the RF and the top part of the core support is MIA...

Re: '91 Temp sending unit help!!!!
If im correct the rounded end of the thermostat is facing outwards..98% sure.. and the tmp sending unit should be on the thermo housing. if not its probably in the back or side of the head.
