New member, Wants wheels

So i'm new to the forums as you can tell by my post count, and also relatively new to working on cars unless you count working on a beat up 240 for 2 years to make it a respectable car. (Old lady in a big *** Yukon plowed me in the rear end at a stop light and totaled it.)

I bought a 2005 Silver Civic Coupe EX SE about 7 months ago and i've been just riding it around stock but i'm just dieing to venture from the stock look into my own style.

I know this the wheel section but i've got two questions, the first (main) one is obviously about wheels. I got my car serviced today and absolutely fell in love with these wheels: Honda Alloy

it says it only fits on 2007 but is there any way I can fit them on my 05? If not can anyone suggest some other wheels? Any comments on if the wheel color and car color would clash would be greatly appreciated.

on to my second question, the car is automatic, so major under the hood modifications just don't feel right. Could I swap an SI tranny (I don't even know if it would fit, haven't ran my homework yet) into the car or am I just wasting my money when I could do a full engine tranny swap with less problems and better results?

The main thing that's tearing me back from the motor swap however is that the car is fairly new and the engine only has about 50k on it

Ive done the SI engine and tranny swap (my car started out as auto too). The swap is not hard at all, you will need to but a front (5speed) transmission mount, new axles, clutch pedal, manual ecu.

If you can, better save and do a K20 instead. Cheers and welcome

How much did that run you? What about engine mounts? or does it just fit right in.

sorry for all the questions but does it feel loose and sloppy like some auto to manual swaps?
