so i wanna tint my windows got a quote for limo tint for 180 for the back windows rear windows and medium tint on the passenger and driver side mirrors....good price?? ooo and they also gotta take off the old tint thats on my windows already... its way to light

also if u have limo tint i hear its pretty tough to see through ur rearview mirror at night is this tru???

I have only 35% and I got a warning on it. Depends on the cop and the area to be honest, but the rules is no window tint in the front driver window unless u have a doctors note. The back windows u can do limo tint, but i think it would look lame to have 2 shades of tint on the car.

ya i was thinkin bout the two different shades as well

i wasnt gunna tint the driver n passenger side too dark just a lil so it doesnt stand out that i dont have tint on them....

but i dont want to end up regreting puttin em on when i get a fix it ticket

i got mines done at Promax here in 626 for like $110. i got limo in the rear and 35% in the fronts. no tickets whatsoever and i live in a cop-loaded city too. *knock on wood* theres nothing wrong with 2 shades of tint on a car. and its not that hard to see at night...dunno what people complain about but i can see mines perfectly at night. UNLESS your'e in a place like ACH or some dark rape alley way where theres no light WHATSOEVER then yea its hard...it would be hard even without tint lol

make sure its metallic tint. if its not its gonna fade and turn purple. Make sure its johnson or 3m tint. I had limo tint all around on all my cars. It is dark at night but you do get use to it. Once your use it, its not too bad. Just roll down your windows when you see cops..simple.

I have 20% on the driver and passenger windows and I think overall it looks ok. You can tell there are two shades of tint, but 20% hasn't really given me any trouble. But as everyone said, it depends on where you are and whether or not the cops happen to be out looking for people to pull over with front tints.

I've had 35% in the front before and with my tan interior, it didn't look good/hardly looked tinted.

I had mines limo all around done like 3 times and I got busted for all of them. And the latest one cost me 430. Cuz I was under age driving at night. And yellow headlights and had my friend that was on house arrest in the car with me that night.

not that simple...i saw a cop far away on the freeway once and i rolled down my windows (8am in the morning) he pulled me over and asked why i rolled down the windows on such a cold morning...

i told him the truth and he said exactly...then proceeded to give me a ticket

yes its harder to see out of limo tint when its dark and a price for 4 and black window should be around 120 to 150. no more that 150 or ur are getting rapped! good luck!

i've had limo tint all for over 5ys on all my cars. i still have it on my mercedes. rolling down the windows always worked for me. Metallic tint is also less dark then the dye kind.

In the day time 15% metallic will look closer to 35% dye since all the light thats coming into the front windshield will make the tint seem lighter in the day.

He probably saw your bright *** bronze rims and decided to pull you over and probably just gave you a ticket for the tint when he pulled you over.

i got pulled over a long time ago, before the swap actually. ever since i had the swap i left the front windows untinted.

ps. the rims are GOLD !!!haha

also, tint on a mercedes will probably have a 98% chance of never ever getting pulled over, that's one luxury of having a bmw/mercedes...
