Re: Custom Gauge Install issue!!

Since I didn't see any gauge clusters, I'm assuming that you just bout some of the gauges and tapped the wires to the oem wires. If that is the case, it's because you are supposed to use the sensors that came with the gauges. There is no easy way to do it. Do you have a link for the gauges you got? And do you still have the sensors that came with the gauges, if any did.

on www.speedhut.com you go to custom gauges and it's a gauge face that overlays on the orig oem face it's not an individual gauge meter

This could be from a couple of things. One make sure that the faces are flat on the oem faces. Also if you took of your gauge needles to install these you may have pushed them on too tight keeping them from rotating.

Re: Custom Gauge Install issue!!

Lol I redid my gauges blue and by accident, I broke the gas and temp needles. But as to the speedo, you have to place the needle past the little stopper on the other side of the numbers. Mine is currently 5 mph off but I broke the needle twice already, and don't feel like breaking it again. As for the gas needle, Make sure the needle is on tight enough that the motor actually spins the needle and loose enough that the needle spins.
