I Need Help Pimping Out My 1996 Honda Civic

It's an automatic. I want to completely modify the body and interior...but first I want to pimp out my engine. I want it to look cool and run amazing. I've had an engine rebuild in this thing already and now it's running horribly. I'm willing to replace the entire engine, transmission, everything. Like I said, I want it to look like a tuner and run like one. Can anyone recommend what I should buy to put into this thing. (I'd like the engine to be green and chrome if possible). BTW, I have very limited mechanical knowledge. Thanks.

Re: I Need Help Pimping Out My 1996 Honda Civic

One of the best things I have ever heard is make it your car and love it. you want an engine in there, do it, you want a body kit and interior, do it. I have heard plenty of times my car is rice but its mine, and its my baby. I'll show you some pics of mine once I get it uploaded but honestly, you said you wanted to start with an engine do that. get a gsr swap with a manual swap, if you know how to drive one. and just do one thing at a time. just remember quality parts aren't always cheap and I highly recommend you stay away from auto parts stores. Find a nice race parts store near you. Just make it your own and ignore what others think about it.

Re: I Need Help Pimping Out My 1996 Honda Civic

Lol I knew someone was gonna bash me for that but honestly with everyone's twisted thought of what rice is, everyone's car other then stock could be considered rice.

The race parts store near me, American Speed Center, has alot of stuff overpriced but plenty of times they had stuff cheaper then anywhere online. They have even beat pricefeeler twice. I also live in one the largest motorhead cities. Nice pic by the way.

Re: I Need Help Pimping Out My 1996 Honda Civic

well Thanks for that but yeah I think any larger cities are gonna have huge amounts of ricers. York city I think is one of the worse around me. It sucks bc even the nice car drivers have no money for quality parts. Then you have these 88 civic hatchs that are primered 3 different colors a black hood, steelies in the front junkyard rims in the back and some autozone steel wing. Let alone most of them have engine swaps with engines with like 100k mi on them and interiors stipped and only run mid 15s. lol I'm going out tonite and I'll see if I can get any pics
