Engine oil additive?

Hi,

I usually drive at high speeds: Is Lucas engine oil additive recommended to more completely lubricate, protect & extend engine life? I know it does not "void warranties". But all my readings on "any" engine oil additives for a Honda Civic EX sedan says it's not recommended.

Thanks,
M. J.

Re: Engine oil additive?

The ONLY oil additive i will ever use and recommend is LC20 by lubecontrol.com because it works so well and does not damage the engine. It is not in the same class as the junk you find in stores. Its main function is an oil stabilizer, it will keep oil in good condition for 10k miles as shown by lab analysis results. I usually go 6-8 months between oil changes with regular oil and the additive. Ive been using it every oil change for over 4 yrs and my car is like new inside. i still get over 40mpg on the highway and i have a 2002 civic with 88k miles. All you do is add around 4 oz when you first change the oil, then add an extra 1 oz every 1k miles you drive until the next oil change. if you dont drive alot, you wont have to add as much. it goes by mileage not time because the additive will burn off when driving. it also slowly cleans the engine by dissolving carbon and adding lubrication. i use it in the auto trans oil too.
